Boston Marathon 2026: Kenya's John Korir wins men's race for 2nd consecutive year, setting course record

Kenya’s John Korir won the men’s 2026 Boston Marathon on Monday, finishing first in the race for the second consecutive year and setting a course record in the process.

Korir finished with a time of 2:01:52, 55 seconds ahead of Tanzania's Alphonce Felix Simbu, who placed as the runner-up for the second year in a row. With that time, Korir ran to the fastest finish for the event in its 130-year history.
