The 2026 NBA Draft Lottery is in the books, and now we know where each team is picking this June.
The Washington Wizards won the No. 1 overall selection, following through as one of three teams with the best chance (14%) at winning the lottery. The Wizards get the No. 1 pick for the third time in franchise history. In 2010, the team selected John Wall, who represented Washington at the lottery draw in Chicago.

The draft order for the 2026 NBA Draft is as follows:
Washington Wizards
BYU forward AJ Dybantsa and Kansas guard Darryn Peterson are two of the prospects favored to be the top selection in June. Other possibilties include Duke forward Cameron Boozer and North Carolina forward Caleb Wilson.
Each of those players comprise the top four selections in Kevin O’Connor’s latest mock draft for Yahoo Sports.
The other two teams with 14% odds of winning the No. 1 pick, the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets, didn’t fare as well.
Brooklyn drew the No. 6 pick and the Pacers lost their selection to the Los Angeles Clippers as a condition of the trade sending center Ivica Zubac to Indiana. The Pacers would have kept their pick had it been among the top four selections — and they had a 52% chance of getting there. But the Clippers kept the pick if it fell withing the No. 5 through No. 9 selections.
