Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has reportedly voluntarily entered a holistic care facility after a series of off-field allegations, according to multiple sources.
His attorney, Levi McCathern, confirmed the news with a statement, shared by NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
The news comes after reports surfaced that a lawsuit had been filed against Nacua by a woman alleging Nacua had made antisemitic comments in an incident that allegedly occurred on Dec. 31. She cited those comments as the "first act in what became an escalating course of rude or vulgar, threatening, violent, and harassing conduct." She also alleges that Nacua bit her shoulder, which left a mark.

The alleged victim had originally filed a petition for a restraining order, which has since been withdrawn.
Nacua's attorney denied the claim that Nacua made the antisemitic comment, while characterizing the bite as "horseplay."
McCathern confirmed that Nacua entered treatment at the holistic care facility prior to the March filing. However, he did acknowledge to the California Post that "the combination of stories ya’ll have run is certainly a contributing factor."
This was not the first time Nacua made headlines in the past year for concerns regarding his off-field behavior. In December, Nacua issued an public apology after agreeing to perform an antisemitic touchdown celebration during a live stream with internet personality Adin Ross. His full statement read:
"When I appeared the other day on a social media livestream, it was suggested to me to perform a specific movement as part of my next touchdown celebration. At the time, I had no idea this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people.
"I deeply apologize to anyone who was offended by my actions as I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry or hate of another group of people."
That live stream took place just weeks before the alleged biting incident.

In McCathern's statement to the Post, he added, “[Nacua]’s in great spirits. I think he’s doing absolutely fabulous. I’m just really excited for how he’s going to look next year. For as great as he was, I think he’s going to be even better going forward."
His lawyer also confirmed that he would complete the program "in plenty of time to be involved in all of the Rams OTAs," which typically take place in late May.
Nacua is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2026 and is in the market for a record-setting extension coming off a 1,715-yard, 10-touchdown campaign this past season. That market was just reset by Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who earned a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension earlier this month.
