Coming off a loss in the NFC Championship Game to the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, and with their quarterback — and 2025 NFL MVP — Matthew Stafford returning, the Los Angeles Rams were already Super Bowl 61 favorites heading into this offseason at sportsbooks.
After reportedly getting NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles is now the clear Super Bowl favorite, according to oddsmakers.

The Rams entered Monday as the +800 favorite at sportsbooks, slightly ahead of the Seahawks at +850 or +900. After the deal, Los Angeles moved to +600 and the Seahawks fell to 11-1 at sportsbooks, behind the Baltimore Ravens (10-1) and Buffalo Bills (10-1). That means the Rams are currently the only team with single-digit odds to win next year’s Super Bowl.
Los Angeles has the most wagers (7.9%) and most money wagered (10.6%) of any NFL team to win Super Bowl 61 at BetMGM.
Los Angeles is sending DE Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-rounder to Cleveland, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Rams were already one of two teams (along with the Ravens) with the league’s highest win total at 11.5, but the trade moved the juice from -125 under 11.5 to -140 over 11.5 at Circa Sports.
Los Angeles had the best odds to make the postseason in the NFC at BetMGM at -325 before the trade, but now the Rams have the best odds of any NFL team (-500) to make the postseason. They also moved to the odds-on favorite (-105) at BetMGM to win the NFC West.
The Browns’ Super Bowl odds remained at 250-1, but their season win total dropped from 6.5 to 5.5 at sportsbooks.
