Mike Conley reportedly agrees to 1-year deal with Celtics, becoming 14th player in NBA history to reach 20 seasons

Mike Conley has something in common with Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. After reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Conley became just the 14th player in NBA history to reach 20 seasons.

That’s a rare honor held by Abdul-Jabaar, James and Bryant, among others.

The financial details of Conley’s contract were not immediately available.

The 38-year-old will join the Celtics after a three-and-a-half year run with the Minnesota Timberwolves. After being a starter with the team the first two-and-a-half years after he was acquired in a trade, Conley shifted to a backup role with the Timberwolves last season.

He averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 assists in 18.4 minutes per game last year.
